The Thing

There was a light comin’ down,
I don’t know that I found
a thing that came from the stars,
well, it came down a hundred yards.	

And it was glowing soft green,
I don’t know what it’s been,
so high and we fly to the sky,
the earth and moon gone by.

We fly – so high – into the sky

Called UFO in a scintiest’s book,
I threw at it just one look,
and knew that it was so high,
just a ship that came outta sky.

Now we sat in and launched off,
flying quick and high, by Jove,
it’s a thing that flew to the sky,
I don’t know what a star we go by.
